GINGER & THE GHOST SHOW OFF VISUAL AND MUSICAL TREATS [VIDEO]

GINGER & THE GHOST SHOW OFF VISUAL AND MUSICAL TREATS [VIDEO]

Musicians are prone to try their hand at visual art, but it’s significantly more rare to find visual artists who turn to making music — at least not many who are promising. Australia’s pop-duo Gingers & the Ghost (@ginger_theghost), though, are looking to be quite promising indeed, with a musical style akin to Lykke Li and Alex Winston. Their debut video for the single “Where Wolf” was released back in February, and shows off both their creative and musical talents. The contrast of the organic forest setting with the kaleidoscope-styled elements and plethora of textures makes this video a visual treat and enhances the subtle, primitive style of the music.

There has been little news as to whether an LP is in the works, but we’re hoping this is just the calm before the storm. In the meantime, check out their video for “Where Wolf” and we’ll keep you in the loop with any forthcoming news.
