Happy free music for you today! The sun is shining, the birds are singing. How great is it that summer is finally upon us!  The following songs are fucking terrific, my personal favorite being Finale from the band Funeral Party.  Here’s the deets on the bands we’re featuring today!

1. Funeral Party is a four piece band out of Los Angeles.  It seems like more and more bands are sprouting out of the evil-est city in the entire United States.  Yes, not my favorite town, but no hard feelings for the bands of LA as Warpaint, Funeral Party, and Local Natives are some of the most creative musicians to make substantial splashes thus far in 2010.
2. Back Ted N-Ted, out of Arizona, is a band that pumps out heavy, emotional lyrics in the guise of a pop music.
3. Everything Everything is gaining a ton of attention across the pond, but has yet to make anything much happen in the States.  This is an anomaly for me.  How can the general population in England have such better taste in tunes than here? Their debut EP is being released later this summer.
4. Twin Shadow is a bit of a mystery.  They only have one song posted on MySpace, so it’d have to be great.  Lucky for them, the 80s-inspired (fuck I hate saying that) song is terrific.  I sort of want to get up and start shuffling my feet about as if I were listening to I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’ by Scissor Sisters (the video below is just… wow… just wow).
