Also a member of The Mynabirds, Patrick Damphier (a.k.a. Field Days) has some pretty amazing solo tracks that he’s currently giving away for free!

Recorded in his parent’s Tennessee basement, the acoustic driven songs on Projector are simple but memorable. Damphier layers his charming vocals with delicate percussion, well-placed harmonies, unadorned guitar riffs, and even the occasional beat box session. While he’s not reinventing the genre, his soulful, storytelling lyrics are certainly the type that imprint themselves on you. I’ve spent the past few days getting to know each song, and it’s certainly been an experience worth more than the email I gave to have it.
