Already dubbed “one of 22 underground bands that likely won’t stay underground for long” by the Alternative Press, The Photo Atlas merges dance party with indie sounds on their sophomore EP, To Silently Provoke the Ghost, released in April of 2009. Hailing from Denver, Colorado, the group of four has been compared to Franz Ferdinand, The Rapture, and The Used.

Their first album, No, Not Me, Never, hit the shelves in 2007 and attracted the attention of many with songs like Red Orange Yellow and Light and Noise. The Photo Atlas is currently on tour, and if you enjoy their fusion of traditional indie punk music with an electro twist, I recommend hitting up one of their shows.
