Stricken City is an energetic young band with a debut album that rivals any other from the past year. In the short time that has elapsed since the release of Songs About People I Know, the band has gained a lot of recognition. Publications from the likes of NME, Rolling Stone, and Spin have unanimously credited Stricken City with being exciting, artful, and tender. the WILD honey pie: If your music was a type of candy bar, which one would it be?
Rebekah Raa: Hershey Bar because its more popular in America then in the UK.

the WILD honey pie: What’s the strangest thing a fan has done to show their love for your band?
Rebekah Raa: The collage on this blog (here)

the WILD honey pie: Ever found out that any big celebs are fans of your music?
Rebekah Raa: Alex James from Blur came to see a show last year and wrote about us in his column for The Spectator. Pretty rad.

the WILD honey pie: If you could have starred in any music video, which would it have been?
Rebekah Raa: Would be pretty cool to be one of the ethnic dancers in the background of Once in A Lifetime by Talking Heads. Have David Byrne copying some ancient Stricken City moves.

the WILD honey pie: What’s your favorite outfit to wear on stage during a gig?
Rebekah Raa: Shorts.

the WILD honey pie: When was the last time your New Years’ resolution actually came true? What was it?
Rebekah Raa: Never. Ever. Trying hard this year though. Oh.
