the WILD honey pie: You’re pretty well-known in the mashup scene, and deservingly so. Any songs you won’t touch because they’re too sacred?
Ethan Ward: I don’t think any song is out of the limits of sampling.
the WILD honey pie: What’s the craziest thing a fan has ever asked you?
Ethan Ward: “How many tits do you want to sign tonight?” A girl asked me that.
the WILD honey pie: It’s pretty hard to keep from dancing to your jams. What dancing style would you recommend for the majority of your songs?
Ethan Ward: I would suggest jerking because its just so fresh.
the WILD honey pie: You offer your albums for free online. That’s pretty progressive. What’s the reason behind not charging?
Ethan Ward: I feel like my creativity is free so I should share that idea with others. Plus I am a really fucking nice guy.
the WILD honey pie: Wild Honey Pie is a song by The Beatles known for its craziness. Which of their “odd” songs is your favorite?
Ethan Ward: I have always been pretty into Revolution #9. I remember listening to it as a kid and really getting creeped out.
the WILD honey pie: If you could create the score for any movie (future, past, or present), which would it be?
Ethan Ward: Back to the Future because I could get that 80′s synth pop stuff and get my 1950′s doo wop stuff in. Pretty much my two favorite types of music.
the WILD honey pie: Valentine’s Day is coming up. If you could take any celebrity out to dinner on the 14th, who would it be?
Ethan Ward: Rashida Jones, she just seems pretty perfect.
the WILD honey pie: You’re given the opportunity to slap one musician in the face right now with on repercussions. Who do you choose?
Ethan Ward: It would probably be the kid from Owl City. I wonder how well he can take a hit.
the WILD honey pie: Favorite lyric in any song. Ever.
Ethan Ward: “The room is on fire as she’s fixing her hair, you sound so angry, just calm down, you found me.” [That's] From Reptilia by The Strokes.
the WILD honey pie: Do you get a lot of comparisons to Girl Talk? If so, what do you think of him and his music?
Ethan Ward: Yes I do get a lot of comparisons, obviously so. Gregg is really rad and I love his music.
the WILD honey pie: If your music was a type of alcohol, it would be ________ .
Ethan Ward: It would be Andre Champagne because it looks classy in a glass but it isn’t.
the WILD honey pie: Thanks so much for answering our questions! Best of luck with everything!
Ethan Ward: Your welcome god damn it.
