The Dirty Projectors’ highly praised and extremely popular 2009 album Bitte Orca is set for a 2 CD and digital rerelease on September 28th. The re-release comes with exclusive content for fans including previously unreleased live material and b-sides from the Ascending Melody 7″, Stillness is the Move 12″, and a cover of Bob Dylan’s As I Went Out One Morning.
Bitte Orca was a critical smash for the band and earned them places on dozens of top 10 album of 2009 lists. In support of the re-release of this gorgeous album, the band (lead vocalist David Longstreth, guitarist Amber Coffman, keyboardist and guitarist Angel Deradoorian, drummer Brian Mcomber, bassist Nate Baldwin and vocalist Haley Dekle) will set out on a lengthy North America tour starting September 7th.
