Clap Your Hands Say Yeah performed two nights at Bowery Ballroom this past weekend, celebrating the 10th anniversary re-release of their debut self-titled album. The Saturday night show was sold out, with loyal fans eager to see the classic indie band again after a period of downtime. Though the band has lost some of its original members, it was easy to see they were ecstatic to be playing their debut songs and old favorites. Lead singer Alec Ounsworth didn’t have too much to say to the audience, but his unique voice and charisma kept everyone engaged throughout. It was an show full of honestly good rock jams — a pure sound that sparks real emotion from anyone who listens.
