BOBBY’S SORE SPORES

bobbyband 526x526 BOBBYS SORE SPORES

After reading the tale of Bobby’s (the band) beginnings, I can’t help but muse on the character their old “front man” embodied. Anxious but talented, and with a propensity to transform into a dark mist to escape the limelight, Bobby (the mysterious dancer) provides the inspiration for the haunting layers and soaring vocals of the band’s first track “Sore Spores”.

Comprised of Vermont’s Tom Greenberg, Mark Zimmermann, Paolo Menuez, Julian Labat, and Roby Mouton, the band also, at Bobby’s request, added the amazing talents of Molly Sarle of Mountain Man. Overall, I simply can’t stop listening to this song. I love the warm guitar tones mixed with the swirling, effervescent embellishments. The mixture of background vocals is also a beautiful addition to the song.
