I’ve been hanging out a bunch with Brooklyn rock band, Blackbells (MySpace page here).  The dudes are way cool, and are poised to make some noise in the indie world as they’ve been opening for a ton of big buzz bands (Crash Kings, Everyone Was In The French Resistance… Now), making them one of the next buzz bands to look out for. While they aren’t quite as quirky as the rest of the music we generally tend to focus on, they’re doing a lot right.  They’ve only been around since February, but have a solid grip on what direction they’re going in.  Take a listen to the MP3s below and like the link to this post on our Facebook fan page if you want them to write articles for the WILD honey pie.  They just might do it!
