Band of Horses put on an incredible sold out performance at Central Park Summerstage last week with support from White Denim. The show was the second-to-last of the 2016 Summerstage series, and fans soaked up every last minute of the summery September weather by singing along to the southern indie rock band.

White Denim took the stage first, and played their incredibly enticing jams from their latest LP, Stiff, as well as favorites like “A Place To Start” and “A Night In Dreams.” The Austin band was the perfect opener and got the audience in the mood for some excellent rock sounds.

Band of Horses then took the stage and played the perfect mix of old favorites like “Marry Song” and “No One’s Gonna Love You” as well as songs from their latest album Why Are You Ok? which received rave reviews. The audience sang along to every word and danced well into the night to this consistently incredible and satisfying band. They are musicians full of heart and their shows are always a true delight.
