Let’s be honest. Valentine’s Day is a very hit or miss holiday.  There’s those that love everything about it, and count down the days until they will be serenaded by their lover.  And then there’s the majority of people that hate the holiday as it can only remind them of how lonely they are, watching couples holding hands in disgust.

As for me, I fall into the category of indifference.  It’s a nice holiday, but I don’t really give much of a shit.  Nevertheless, I get all giddy with the opportunity of putting together a list of a few romantic indie songs (as well as some daggers).  Some of the following have been featured on the site before, some haven’t.  Some are new, some are not.  Just five great songs to play while you make sweet, sweet love later.
